I’m Kim Foster. I’m a James Beard Award-winning food writer. I write about people at the intersection of food and mental illness, family separation, poverty, addiction, trauma, and incarceration. I came to Las Vegas, Nevada from New York City. I love both cities so much, but Nevada has got me. Nevada means home.
I live with my people: My husband, David, a Grammy-winning, and two-time Tony-nominated comedy producer, who is an avid mountain biker. And our kids, Lucy 18, Edie 17, Raffi 12, and Desi 8. We also live with 4 bunnies, 22 chickens, 3 turkeys, 2 cats and 2 dogs.
